Do I need any astronomy experience?
Not at all. The experience is designed for complete beginners as well as night-sky enthusiasts. I’ll guide you through the constellations, Greek mythology, telescope observations, and celestial objects throughout the session.
How long does the experience last?
The experience lasts approximately 2 hours, including constellation storytelling, telescope observation, live celestial imaging, and a complimentary night-sky portrait.
What can we see through the telescope?
Depending on the season and sky conditions, we may observe:
- The Moon
- Different planets
- Star clusters
- Nebulas
- Distant galaxies
Every night is unique.
Will we see the Milky Way?
During the summer months and under clear, dark skies, the Milky Way is often visible to the naked eye and becomes one of the highlights of the experience.
Is the experience suitable for children?
Yes. Curious children aged 8 and above usually enjoy the experience very much, especially the mythology stories and telescope observations.
What should I bring?
We recommend bringing:
- Comfortable clothing
- A light jacket after sunset
- Comfortable shoes
- Drinking water
Avoid bright flashlights, as they affect night vision.
What happens if the weather is cloudy?
The experience depends on clear skies. If weather conditions prevent observation, we will arrange an alternative date whenever possible.
Where does the experience take place?
Locations are carefully selected around Lefkada to provide dark skies and the best possible observing conditions. Exact meeting details are shared a few days prior to the activity.
Please note that we do not provide transportation.
Can I take photos?
Absolutely. Guests are welcome to take photos throughout the experience. At the end of the session, a complimentary Night Sky Portrait is also included.
Is the experience private?
In every experience the participants can be up to 6 members. However, if you wish to have a private session, kindly contact us with all the details. It is also possible to host bigger groups upon communication.
